  1. This is going to be great! Temple Grandin, is indeed, an awesome individual. I have heard her speak as well as her mother. Her mother talks about raising Temple and all the good and bad things in a very humorous way. Don’t miss her if you ever get a chance to go and listen to her.

  2. Wooo hooo! Up and running!
I just wanted to say that I saw Temple Grandin speak last night and she absolutely ROCKED! I gained so much insight into the Autistic brain that it was a truely remarkable experience. She explains veryVERY scientific things in such layperson terms that just about anyone can catch the drift of the very advanced issues she is speaking about. ONE of her TOP comments was to REMOVE all florescent lighting from all special education rooms because so many children with sensory disorders can actually SEE the 60 x’s per sec that the florescent lighting cycles. They find it very disturbing, makes it hard to concentrate, let alone read as well as instigates some behaviors because they can’t make it stop. WOW! Roll on Temple! One little tip amongst hundreds. Neat lady!
